Our Favorite Games That Didn't Make Our Top 10

Elden Ring for me is head and shoulders above the rest. I’m nearly 400 hours in and still to complete it. Phenomenal game! GOTY for me by some distance.

Then I’d have to say Vampire Survivors, Halo Infinite, Tunic, Plague Tale Requiem and High on Life.

Also working my way through Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I had tried these games back when they originally released but they didn’t do anything for me. Felt the gameplay was mediocre at best. After hearing all the hype that ME2 has gotten I decided to try them again and have now completed ME1 which I really enjoyed. Still think the gameplay is average but the story kept me going. Started ME2 straight after and I’m some 5 hours in. Again I don’t really think much of the gameplay it’s the narrative that’s keeping me going.

Felt the same way with TLOU. Average gameplay. Serviceable to the narrative which is what kept me going in that game too. 7.5 to 8/10 so far for Mass Effect Legendary Ed and same with TLOU for me. Good solid games but nothing really special tbh. Especially gameplay wise!

I'll have to check out a couple of these indie titles. For me, the best were god of war, gotham knights, stray, and elden ring.

Cult of the Lamb was a tough one for me. Rougelite/Citybuilder seems like a great idea... But every component was so basic/simple that it was hard to get into

Not posting to whine though. I kind of feel like I missed shivering with this game. Am I wrong?
