Adam Driver Fends Off Dinosaurs In The First Trailer For Sci-Fi Movie 65

This is the closest we'll probably ever get to a Dino Crisis movie.

The first trailer for 65, a new science-fiction action film from the writers of A Quiet Place and produced by Sam Raimi, has dropped.

Starring Adam Driver (Star Wars), the trailer starts off with some fairly classic sci-fi affair, with his character being a pilot that is transporting 35 passengers in a spaceship on "a long-range exploratory mission." Unfortunately--shock horror--the worst happens, and the ship gets hit by some asteroids, causing it to crash land on an uncharted planet.

To up the dramatics, most of the passengers (who are all asleep in pods) are missing, but Driver's character does manage to find a young girl that he then obviously has to protect. To make matters even worse, there are dangerous aliens on this otherwise habitable planet. However, they might look familiar to us: these aliens are dinosaurs.

That's where the name 65 comes in, as it turns out that this film is set on Earth, 65 million years in the past, back when there were still dinosaurs roaming the lands. An honestly pretty fun concept for a sci-fi film that doesn't want to be just Jurassic Park with futuristic guns (though obviously it is a little bit that anyway).

According to the film's trailer, 65 is set to release exclusively in theaters March 10 next year.
